INCUS | NOVA reliably recognises all four classic stroke types, sets, reps, and lengths automatically. CLOUD organises and clearly shows all results for you within moments. Use the logbook to write notes, log injury and share session results with your friends, colleagues or coach.

MEASURE YOUR STROKE RATE

Is the FIIN vest unisex

Yes, we have 7 size variants ranging from XS (30" chest) up to XXL (50" chest), to fit all shapes and sizes. FIIN vest is designed to be worn tight to ensure the most accurate measurements and zero drag.
Device compatibility

We have designed the INCUS platform to be as inclusive as possible and support a much wider range of devices than most.

Apple Devices

An iPhone 6 or above & an iPad from 2016 onwards. These devices all have Bluetooth 4.2 or above which is the minimum we are currently able to support.

Android Devices 

A device with Bluetooth 4.2 or above, which is the minimum we are currently able to support. The device should also be running Android 7.0 or above. For a more in-depth list of supported Android devices, please see below:
·      Galaxy S8 and newer.
·      Huawei P20/P30/P40 series (plus "Lite" and "Pro" versions).
·      Google Pixel phones (1, 2, 3, 4 or XL versions).
·      More to be confirmed shortly.

Whilst the INCUS platform may work with any devices below these minimum requirements, we cannot guarantee that the user experience is up to our usual high standards.

Does it work in open water or endless pools?

The device will track all bio mechanical metrics such as your body roll and body angle. To automatically calculate stroke rate, distance, reps and lengths there must be a fixed distance with a push off for NOVA to detect turns and correctly classify your sessions.
What makes INCUS different?

INCUS | NOVA is unique in that it has been created specifically for Triathlon and multi-sport athletes. Whilst currently offering swimming & running metrics and insights, over time the NOVA will evolve to offer cycling (2023) via free over-the-air updates.

INCUS | NOVA is also unique in that it is worn on the spine. This ensures that both sides of the body can be measured accurately as well as offering the ability to measure INCUS exclusive measurements such as body roll and body pitch.
Battery life

INCUS | NOVA has a 20 hour battery life.
How do I wear the device?

Our swim bundle includes a specially designed FIIN Vest to hold the NOVA. Designed to GB specifications the vest has been validated to have zero drag in the pool.

How do I start a session

Starting a session couldn't be easier. Simply click the button on the NOVA once it's in your FIIN Vest and it will begin recording. When you're stationary the NOVA will automatically pause recording so you only receive swim data. You can also start a session using the INCUS | CLOUD app.
