Beth Potter

INCUS Performance were delighted to welcome European Triathlon champion Beth Potter to the team in 2022. Beth is primarily using INCUS | NOVA's full-body insights to help improve her swimming technique whilst training for her upcoming triathlon competitions.

In 2022 Beth has already won the Europe Triathlon Cup Quarteira and the Super League Arena Games in Munich.

Beth was born in 1991 in Scotland and grew up in Bearsden. At a young age Beth was a competitive swimmer but in 2004 started competing as a runner, winning the Scottish Under-15 Cross Country Championships a few years later. In 2009, Beth attended Loughborough University where she ran track, before attending Saint Mary's University, London to complete her postgraduate training.

After graduating, Beth worked as a physics teacher whilst training full-time. In 2016, Beth qualified for the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, finishing 34th at the Games in the 10,000 meters. However, in January 2017 Beth announced that she was planning to make a transition from athletics to triathlon with a view to competing at the 2020 Olympics.

Since 2017, Beth has been based in Leeds, training and competing full time as a triathlete with huge success. In 2019 Beth won the Triathlon European Championships, in 2020 Beth won the Valencia ITU Triathlon World Cup. In 2021, Beth won the Super League Arena Games in London beating a stellar field, broke the women’s 5km world record (unofficially) with a time of 14.41 and won multiple ITU World Cup races including Tongyeong and Haeundae in South Korea.
