Ruth Astle is a professional triathlete from the United Kingdom. Having achieved the goal of first Age Grouper overall in Kona 2019, Ruth embarked on a new journey to pursue triathlon professionally.
Qualifying for both World Championships in 2022, winning 2 Ironman races and setting 2 bike course records, Ruth is ranked 30th in the world.
Ruth uses her INCUS | NOVA when swimming to track her rotation (Body Roll).
Astle has been using the INCUS | NOVA since early 2020, her first year as a pro-athlete. In that time she has had races canceled because of COVID-19, missed pool time because of lockdowns and suffered an Achilles injury that hampered her run preparation, but despite this less than perfect introduction to the pro-scene she finished 2021 with 2 Ironman race win’s under her belt.
“I was an absolutely terrible swimmer! INCUS has helped me get to a point where I can swim with the main group, being able to do that helped me win in Mallorca.”
